Re the forthcoming visit by George Bush to Britain, and in the words of the inimitable Ross, "I'm sure that Tony Blair's preparing. He's investing in a new set of knee pads and some mouth wash."
Don't think the leaders on either side of the pond are very popular in some circles since a certain war, are they? Thank god I can disclaim having voted for mine.
I can't say the same. But really, there was no other choice at the last election.
Don't think we really had much of a choice our last election either. I did go with the other guy (the one who won the popular vote) but I wasn't terribly jazzed about him either.
The coming presidential election in 2004 is shaping up to be rather interesting though. Very curious to see if gay marriage becomes a major platform or not.
