As a result of a conversation on moonlettuce's LJ have just discovered that my existing broadband speed is to be upgraded to a mighty 10Mb with unlimited downloads at no extra cost.

How much do I love Blueyonder atm? Oh, lots and lots and lots...

They're upgrading everyone. The people on 1Mb go to 4Mb and those on both 2Mb and 4Mb go to 10Mb. I'm not sure what extra those on 4Mb get - possibly even higher upload speeds. Those on 2Mb will have their speed increased to 348 or thereabouts from 256.

Does this mean you're going to get into vids? I will warn you off them, with one or two exceptions. They will suck your time away from the epic, and that is not to be permitted.

Vids? I doubt it. I'm on 2Mb broadband as is atm, which is fast enough for vids.

But I don't know how to make them, am not particularly music-orientated (although I really enjoy other people's music-vids) and doubt I'd have the patience anyway.

So, the epic is safe. Must get to writing more of it soon.

Great; our upload speed was only 256 anyway, so we are getting both benefits. I think they're trying to steal customers from BT dialup, myself *G*

The one must-see video of the few dozen I've seen is Luminosity's Touched. I'd send the link, but it seems to be down. It's D/M through the end of Revelations, and vidded to a very cool song by a band called Vast. I watch it every few weeks, for some reason.

I'd never have the inclination to vid.

You write more of your epic, and I'll get through chapter 10 of the novel. I've been in re-write mode, which is good in that it is better, but I need to advance down the story line from here.
