(and if I can manage to annoy [livejournal.com profile] moonlettuce as well, why, that's just an added bonus...) I'd like to announce that I've booked my hotel room for [livejournal.com profile] connotations. No, of course I haven't registered for the con yet. Let alone paid the registration fee. Perish the thought. *eg*

Yes, there really are a lot of people about who happily announce that they're going to the con, have booked the hotel and everything. Oh, except for actually registering and paying the registration fee. Alas, it turns out that I'm one of them... *eg*

As am I - on the grounds that there were only five single rooms and I wanted to make damn sure I had one of them, before committing to registering.

*g* Very sensible. Actually, it was seeing you and [livejournal.com profile] lexin's LJ entries about the con that made me think I really ought to book my room. I've booked a single room, as well.

But poor Tem has expressed her bewilderment in the past when people say that they're coming to the con, but haven't actually registered with her. I think all those people do actually end up registering, mind you. But only after they've said that they're coming. So, I thought I'd add myself to the list. *bg*

That should be all the single rooms used up then, I have one, [livejournal.com profile] gloria1 has one, [livejournal.com profile] cushy has one (and she's actually had a letter to confirm), so if you have one and [livejournal.com profile] derryderrydown has one that's five.

Hmmm...

So, if someone else ends up with a single room, then there's more than 5, then. See, that O Level maths didn't go to waste...*g*

I'm rather amused to note that with the exception of [livejournal.com profile] derryderrydown the single rooms have been snaffled by the, er, rather more old mature con-goers. In other words, by those of us who really need that good night's sleep.
