'The Warrior' wins

I'm watching the BAFTA awards at present. Stephen Fry, the host, is as inimitable as ever.

I was very pleased to see that 'The Warrior' won Best British Film. I went to see the film at the London Film Festival and enjoyed the talk by the producers and lead actor afterwards. Amazingly, it's the writer's first film. *Cheers for the writer*.

The cinematography is stunning and it highlights a facet of Indian culture and history that I don't think is well known outside India. Highly recommended.

Edited to add that Sean Bean has just come on to present an award. He looks yummy, but a little shy

How are you?

I'm taking this opportunity to write to you because I haven't replied to your emails from two weeks ago. I'm sorry. I was too busy with my studies (yes, I know, it doesn't seem very believable, but it's true), and then my monitor died.

Anyway, I'll probably be going to London on Friday and will stay there till Saturday - or maybe even Sunday. Would it be possible to meet you then? Because I'd really love that. Can you also talk to Arachne? Although I really hope to be able to write to her soon.

Goody. I can definitely do either Saturday or Sunday and am waiting to hear from arachne whether she is able to do either. Will let you know as soon as I hear from her. Dunno where she's got to, maybe she's hiding from my wrath. But she deserves to suffer, having forwarded the most horrendous LOTR Mpreg to me. I think my eyes are still bleeding.

I'm not saying that it's not possible to do Mpreg well (although I think it's incredibly difficult to pull off), but this story... didn't. *g*

Completely forgot that I'm going to the Aztec Exhibition on Sunday (luckily I just got an email reminding me), but can still do Saturday. Fingers crossed that arachne can as well.

I just realised that I can't make it on Sunday either because we'll probably go see TTT here - again! :)

Saturday it is, then. BTW, have you seen the Star Trek exhibition? This is one of the reasons I'm going down to London, you see :)
