mandragoraI'm feeling rather pleased that the man once described as "Britain's pornographer in chief" by the Daily Mail has been appointed to the job.
During his time at Channel 4 he was subject of many controversies and stood up well to the pressure, which bodes well. For once it looks like the Government may have actually got it right.

Date: 2 April 2004 23:49 (UTC)Plus, the Beeb have announced new series and new Doctor, which suggests that contracts have already been signed and commitments made, so hopefully it will all still go ahead.
