28 April 2004 21:10Will you stop posting about Angel/Lindsey dammit, woman! Because I'm edging this close to tumbling head over heels for them. And it's all your fault. Just read your story and it's...ahem, well yes *fans self*. And now I've been checking out the excellent and affecting music-vids you recommended.
From there it's only a teeny tiny step to searching out all the fiction. Well, the good stuff, anyway. But Lindsey's a lawyer, blast it. And lawyers? So not Teh Sexy. Except that Lindsey (and Lilah) are.
But I don't have time for this right now. Work calls. Loudly. *shakes fist at

Hon, wait and talk to me when you've been playing the damn vid on infinite loop for two days straight. *g* Besides, what's not to love?!?
And I'm so glad you liked the story. I've been (obviously) running around in my head about a followup, and I think I've achieved some breakthrough, so. I've only just started looking around at other A/L (of which I don't find tons to start with), and I'm hesitant, because the Lindsey out there seems...a lot squooshier than I see him.
bubbling over with Angel/Lindsey love
Lindsey the Lawyer is definitely the sexay. I think it's the mouth. And the hair. And the fact that he plays the guitar and the blues, and looks sexy in the jeans and cowboy boots. And wants Angel. And hates him for it. And wants him anyway. And guh.

Absolutely. I think the only reason I didn't fall before was because I don't tend to read much Angel or Buffy fanfiction so your story really hit me where it, er, hurts? So glad to read that you're planning a sequel.

Oh yeah! I love those type of relationships. Mulder/Krycek. Chakotay/Paris (in the early seasons of ST:Voy) etc.

That doesn't surprise me. Krycek is often portrayed as being squooshy, as well. I think it's because we love our anti-heroes but don't want them to be really bad so we soften them a bit in our minds, and in fanfiction. I think that there are things the writer can pick up on in order to soften Lindsey if they want to but a harder-edged portrait is more true to canon. And I like canon.
