Is it the low iron thing which is making you lethargic, do you think? Or has that already been sorted? Sorry you've had so much work. I mean, I daresay it's a good thing in the sense of work allows one to pay the mortgage, and buy pretty clothes, and so forth, but it still sucks. Just think, if you'd had hte foresight to get yourself born to Richard Branson or Rupert Murdoch, you could have been independently wealthy all your life and had all the good things which work affords without any of the actual work. You didn't arrange the circumstances of your birth very well, did you? Although it would probably be fairly horrible to be related to Branson, and DEFINITELY horrible to be related to Murdoch.
I'm not certain why I'm so lethargic. Could be a combination of low iron and stress. I'm currently having to decide which of my assistants I'm going to have to let go, as the case we're working on is coming to trial at last. I hate having to let people go.
And I agree. I blame my ancestors. I had some who were very wealthy. And lost most of their wealth in the Great Depression of the 1930s. They then spent what was left. Very inconsiderate.
OTOH, I am in the process of buying a new car atm...
P.S. Would you like a Christmas card from moi? I have a limited supply of cards with piles of gifts (visual representations thereof, not actual gifts) and lots of green sparklies, but I would reserve one for you if you like, because you seem like someone who would appreciate a card with sparklies on it.
Did you know that after Winter Solstice (last exam of my undergraduate career EVER is 21 Dec. There's irony there) I am free as a bird and eligible for my B.A. Not that a simple B.A. designation is much to boast of at my advanced age, but having stopped and started so many times I'm rather in awe of the fact that I seem to be actually finishing now. THere's a light at the end of the tunnel, and no, I don't *think* it's the light of the oncoming train.
You didn't actually ask for this info-dump all about my life, but I decided to volunteer it anyway, because I'm pushy that way, and it's much pleasanter than talking about how but for the grace of God you could've ended up as one of Rupert Murdoch's children.
A Sparkly Christmas card would be lovely. I haven't been joining in the Christmas card thing because I know that I'm far too apathetic to join in and send the cards back and didn't want to take without giving. But if you're offering, yes, please. I'll go and sign up.
And way to go! It's a real achievement to stick it out and get the BA. And it *is* a real achievement, you know, to battle ill health as you've done, not to mention holding down a demanding job as well. Don't underestimate yourself, you deserve many, many congratulations. Please feel free to 'info dump' me at any time. I'm *so* pleased for you.
you could've ended up as one of Rupert Murdoch's children.

Eek! Now that's a deeply scary thought.
