Dr Who - Bad Wolf
11 June 2005 20:15Oh God. That was absolutely brilliant. I can't wait for next week.
Have just learnt from Dr Who Confidential that
We were meant to see Captain Jack's naked backside. But the BBC Brahmins (not the Dr Who producers) put the kybosh on it. Russell Davies and John Barrowman were both *most* disappointed. *g* As was I.
Oh, but The Weakest Link, Big Brother and Trinny and Suzanne. Too much fun. Also chilling. Reality TV to the nth degree (IMO reality TV is horribly insidious, addictive and very bad for us).
And I thought that Rose was really dead, despite the spoilers for next season. And the Doctor's devastation. And the hug between Capt Jack and the Doctor.
And half a million Daleks!
Whew. I was feeling tired before the episode and now the adrenaline is fizzing through my veins.

Date: 11 June 2005 20:51 (UTC)OTOH, if the Beeb are screening it Christmas Day, that's ITV already so, so dead in the water *g*. Funny really. Last year the Beeb spent £25 million on getting Harry Potter, when everyone who wante it had it already as a dvd; this year, I'd bet the special costs well under a million to make.
And if they *don't* do it as their big Christmas Day thing, they're stupider than I thought.
Next week, and then skip straight to Christmas. I can probably get my shopping done this week if I have to ;-)
