In Common Ground Teyla used a contraction. She said 'I'm' as in, "I'm not so sure, Ronon."

God, those Earth people (and Ronon) are having a bad effect on her, aren't they?

As for the episode itself, oh yeah, loved it. A couple of niggles but mostly love.

This season as a whole has been really enjoyable so far. Not a single dud episode (in that I won't bother to re-watch) in the lot, including last week's Elizabeth-centric one The Real World. But then I thought Torri's performance was excellent in it, as was Joe's in Common Ground and Jason's in Sateda. David's Rodney-centric episode is next (am looking forward to that one as much as I was Common Ground), and I have no doubt he'll be great in it. But. Where's Teyla's episode?

And is it really bad of me to admit that I'm really not bothered if there's a Beckett-centred episode? I dunno. I enjoyed Carson in Irresistible but mostly I'm rather meh when it comes to Beckett. Pity, because from what I've seen of the actor he's a nice bloke who comes across well on a personal level.

Actually, I think TPTB have actually been listening *gasp* to the fans and the actors, both of whom have been saying for a while now that there weren't enough 'character' moments, not enough to show that the characters care about each other.

It was acknowledged by the producers that the show needed more of that, that they needed to redress the balance between action and plot and characterisation, and they promised to address the issue in Season 3, to great effect so far.
