It's a wonderful town, which I will be visiting from 9 to 16 June 2004.

Soooo, anyone want to meet up? Anyone?

Perhaps we'll get to see each other again before we're both 50. ;)

No, no, we can't possibly wait that long. Why, that's years, decades even, *cough* away...

I'm looking forward to my NYC trip even more now after your comments about Monica. Can't wait to meet her!

And oooh yeah! you both must come to London. This year would be great. And, of course, you're both more than welcome to stay at my place. Now how can you resist? *cough*

Hmm, I seem to have developed a pesky cough somewhere along the line. *g*

Monica Rule #1: Even though she's naturally fun, feed her lots of wine and she'll do anything. ;)

Free lodging? Hard to pass that up. I've already put the feelers out to Monica to see how serious she was about a London trip. My birthday is coming up in September and my mother is more than happy to get off easy by donating money toward a trip. :)

And I'm bringing my own tea. Lord knows how I coped the last time I was there other than abusing your washing machine, stealing a tiny container of chips (bet you never missed them, did you) and managing to change your email inbox to show all your email as 'read' even though I didn't snoop and read any of it--amazing what one slip of the finger on the keyboard can do. So not gonna mention the downpour in Birmingham where you were the only one with an umbrella and I spent my last day in London holed up in your flat trying to hold off the flu until I got back home. Nor am I going to mention a certain someone picking me up at the airport then getting us lost on the way to your place and throwing a map at me -- ME! who was fresh off an 11-hour flight, had never been to London before and EVERYONE was driving on the WRONG side of the road -- so I could figure out how to get to your place. Probably shouldn't mention the petrol station and fur coat incident either . . . *cough*

I seem to have picked up your cough . . .

Think I'll stop off at the duty free and get hold of some wine. Wanna see Monica do anything! ;)

September sounds good. I just need to check on dates because I have a wedding to go to in September. I think it's the 18th, but it may be the 25th. I'll let you know when I get back to Blighty (will shortly be leaving for the airport).

No, I never missed the 'chips'. I think you mean crisps as we call chips what you call French fries. But the food was there for you to eat, so it's not really stealing. *g*

Yeah, the flu was a bummer. Oh, and I saw she-who-must-not-be-named last night and mentioned you might be coming. She'd love to see you, although picking you and Monica up from the airport might not be such a good idea...

Grrr, fur coat, grrr. Still angry at that one. ;)

Gotta dash.
