When Hermiod mutters comments in his own language (Asgardian?) what's he's actually saying is English played backwards.
So, for example, in Intruder after Sheppard has finished eyeing up Hermiod and making his 'naked' comment, what the Asgard says is, "These humans are infants."
Then, also in Intruder, after they've failed to get rid of the virus for the second time, Hermiod says, "The incompetence of these humans is beginning to
make me angry."
