Spooks! Bah humbug
20 October 2005 22:00I hate, hate, hate sheer stupidity amongst people who are meant to be intelligent.
I suspect that's not the reaction TPTB were hoping to elicit, but I was sadly unmoved by tonight's dramatic happenings. Because the stupidity. It burns...

Date: 21 October 2005 06:06 (UTC)As for Fiona, I could (just about) buy why she didn't tell Adam what was going on, but why the *hell* didn't she tell Harry? He can certainly keep a secret and could have worked with her in keeping Adam out of the loop and away from danger.
I like Fiona but don't have a problem with what happened to her -- dramatic development and all that. What I do have a problem with is the *way* it happened. She's an intelligent woman but she certainly didn't act like it. Yes, she was scared, but even so... Sigh.

Date: 21 October 2005 11:51 (UTC)We couldn't believe Fiona either. There was a moment when I wasn't sure if 5 knew about the stuff in Syria, but it soon became obvious everyone knew. Which makes it even more insane that she kept it from Adam, or, failing Adam who is about as crazy when it comes to the whole thing as Fiona, then yes, at least Harry.
Also, that whole thing at the end with the glass? Could. Not. Believe it. WTF? Though yay for getting him lol
